As you might have noticed, I’ve been MIA from my blog and website for awhile.  So long in fact, the thought of trying to get caught up on blog posts at this stage seems overwhelming.  But I will do it.  It will be part of my journey.

Since mid-2009 I have been dealing with some very personal, very hard life changes.  For a period of time I thought I could continue on as usual trying to balance it all, and almost to my own detriment I found I could not.  I had good weeks and bad weeks, that usually led to either good months or bad months, but through it all, I kept my optimism, faith and hope.  I have discovered a lot about myself and the person I want to become and a lot about the type of life that I want to live.  It’s been a journey… back to my roots, back to my self and back to happiness.

I worked steadily in 2010, but not to the extent I did in the very busy 2009, but the reduced work was more for self-preservation than anything else.  I limited my wedding and portrait commissions to focus on family and building my life. Now, with a wonderful 2011 on the horizon, I’m happier than I’ve ever been, have met my true soul mate, and am stronger and more creatively infused with ideas and inspiration for TH Photography.  I’m back to work in full-force, accepting commissions and branching out into new and very exciting projects. Thank you for your patience and support.  I could have never made it without you.  Cheers to a wonderful new year full of new starts and happiness for all!

My blog concept is a bit different, a bit bold.  It may take people a while to get used to, but I’m okay with that.  Blogs are hard to design, and they begin looking like the same vertical designs blog after blog.  I went to Flosites with my idea.  Because I have worked with Flosites for years, they know my style and likes and they came back with a better design that I could have ever imagined!  I wanted fashionable, clean-lines, simple yet modern.  I’m inspired by Anthropology, Urban Outfitters, Kate Spade.  Clean.  It’s all that and more.  This blog is exactly the concept that I had for my business and it matches my new branding to a T.  Thank you to my blog readers for your patience as I neglected the old blog to labor over this one, and I can’t thank Ross and the gang at Flosites enough for making my rambling thoughts become a reality.  IT’S HERE!!!  WHOOO HOOOOO!!!!
